My thoughts go to all those who have big things to renew today.
Joseph had many unexpected twists in his life. Pregnancy, travel to Bethlehem, to Egipt, the loss of his young Son in Jerusalem... The few things we know about his life are unpleasant episodes. Probably the rest of his life wasn't very different from this: living poorIy, in a small town... If God didn't spare him form problems, being a great saint and a main character in the History of Salvation, how can we expect to be rid of toil?
I write this while still listening to Jónsi. The track is called "Sinking Friendships". He sings with that falsetto voice of his. Very peculiar. And beautiful. I wonder how long will it last.
